For students and parents
Free to use. Register once, then buy and book.
Riders and parents never pay Riding Hall. You pay your coach or school for your classes, and your lessons are kept privately for you.
How to register
- With a riding school. Use the registration link the school gives you. You create a free account, then register yourself or your child, and every coach at the school takes you on together.
- With an independent coach. Find the coach in the directory or by their exact name, and ask to join their register. They accept you, and you see their classes and prices.
- For a child. A parent or guardian joins as themselves and adds the child. A child never has a login: the parent holds the record, gives or withdraws permission to film, and the child is asked too, in their own words. Their no stands.
- Sign the Code and complete the registration. A riding school asks for an emergency contact, the rider's weight and height, riding experience and a signed Code of Conduct. A health declaration is yours to make or not, and it is kept encrypted.
Buying and booking
- Choose a class. You see the classes and prices of the coaches who have accepted you, and the number of places in each.
- Pay as the class allows. By card now, at the lesson, or by the coach's payment link. Card payments are taken by Stripe, and Riding Hall never sees your card number.
- Choose a time. Pick from the coach's free times. The booking appears in your bookings, the coach's diary and, for a school, the school's calendar.
- Have the lesson. Where a lesson is filmed, the video is kept privately for you, with the coach's voice over it and their notes under it. A class that has been taught is used; buy or book another when you are ready.
A cancelled booking more than 48 hours ahead gives the class back to book again.
